JESSIE J's DANCERS - BY BECKY S

Jessie J Dancers - Elstree Studios for Universal - Saturday 18th February

Some of the M.A.C.H team were up bright and early at off to Elstree studios to do Jessie J's Dancers for 'Lets Dance' for sport relief.
Our make up brief was a flawless skin, peachy cheeks with a lovely glow. Focus being on the lashes and a bold, bright lip.
Our hair brief to start was a super sleek ponytail with a netting/lace around the base of the ponytail to give it some structure. See this image below from Donna Karen s/s 12 as an example (ponytails are on trend on the catwalks at the moment)

During rehearsals we all kept an eye on the monitors backstage, afterwards we all went back to the dressing room, Jessie J herself had to go and change and the dancers needed touch ups. This was when we changed the hair, and then took off the black and orange lipsticks to be replaced with pink and a lovely bright blue. The hair was changed from a pony tail into a hair knot, so the team took out the netting and twisted and tied up the ponytail into a knot. We all had our hair products at the ready to make sure everything was sleek before the filming.
Products I used for Hair:

Loreal studio architect shine wax *courtesy of the lovely Holly(M.A.C.H team)!
Tigi 'Way Out' Super Hair Glue - for some texture and to fight those strays!
Tresemme Super strong hold hairspray

Products used for the bold lip and gorgeous glow on the make up:

M.A.C Strobe cream
M.A.C Chromaline - (as reviewed by M.A.C.H team on the blog, a great product, gorgeous colours!) These were used as the lip colour. The blue really stands out well on camera!
